STG Leaders Receive Workforce Innovator and Trailblazer Awards
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Two STG Logistics employees have been recognized with 2025 Women in Supply Chain Awards, which honor female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and commitment set a foundation for women in all levels of an organization's supply chain network.
"At STG, we are enormously fortunate to have talented, dedicated women working at every level of our organization," said Geoff Anderman, Chief Executive Officer of STG. "They are committed to our customers and their teams, and work to elevate STG as a whole as well as individual team members. These well-deserved awards highlight the contributions they make each day to our organization and to the logistics and supply chain industry."
Summer Weinberg, STG's Director of Systems and Compliance, received the Workforce Innovator Award. With over 15 years at STG, Weinberg has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise across a wide spectrum of logistics functions. In her current role, she has spearheaded system enhancements and compliance initiatives, serving as a vital liaison between operations and IT. Her career progression - from managing complex air freight and public warehousing operations to shaping national compliance protocols- reflects a deep commitment to excellence and innovation.
Megan Williams, Senior Vice President, Operations, received the Trailblazers Award. Williams joined STG in 2021 to lead the recruiting and verifications teams. Since then, she has steadily expanded her purview to include Safety, Per-Diem Equipment, M&R and Operations. She holds operational oversight for 11 Intermodal and Drayage terminals and maintains responsibility for driver recruiting, verifications, vendor relations and procurement. Williams' work has reshaped the way STG supports its drivers and operations. Her ability to balance operational excellence with driver-centric thinking distinguishes her as a leading figure in the supply chain industry.
"Every year, the award winners amaze me. Regardless of the disruptions, economic uncertainty, and other industry challenges, these women in supply chain winners are doing remarkable things for their communities, organizations and teams," says Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Co-Founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum. "In correlation with the theme of this year's Women in Supply Chain Forum, these female logistics leaders are rising up; they're strengthening leadership pipelines, enforcing a people-first leadership approach, spearheading new product introductions, and transforming the way the industry views women in supply chain. I couldn't be more proud of this year's winners."
