The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on December 9 that it will operate its largest-ever exhibition space for Seoul-based advanced startups at CES 2025, the world’s largest consumer electronics and ICT trade show.

CES (Consumer Electronics Show), held annually in Las Vegas, is a global tech arena where companies like Samsung and Google unveil their future visions and startups present innovative technologies.

From January 7 to 10, 2025, Seoul will host 1,040? “Seoul Pavilion” at Eureka Park, CES’s dedicated startup exhibition zone. This is a 50% increase in space compared to the previous year.

The Seoul Pavilion at CES 2025 will feature more startups and award-winning companies than ever before, reflecting the city’s growing presence in the global tech scene since its debut at CES 2020.

The pavilion will showcase cutting-edge technologies from Seoul-based AI, lifestyle, and healthcare companies. The city plans to facilitate global market entry through on-site investor matching, competitions, and other dynamic programs.

This year’s exhibition will involve 104 startups from 16 organizations, including three Seoul districts (Gangnam, Geumcheon, and Gwanak), five startup support agencies (SBA, Seoul Tourism Organization, Seoul Biohub, Seoul AI Hub, and CampusTown Enterprise Growth Center), and eight universities (Konkuk, Kyung Hee, Kookmin, Dongguk, Sogang, University of Seoul, Yonsei, and Chung-Ang).

The city will run a support program matching each startup with a student supporter from these eight universities to assist participating companies. A total of 103 outstanding student supporters will provide comprehensive on-site exhibition assistance.

Exhibitors will receive full operational support, including booth setup, innovation award consulting, buyer matching, on-site IR presentations, and media promotion.

A record 21 participating startups will receive the CES 2025 Innovation Awards. Presented annually by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the awards recognize outstanding technology, design, and innovation products.
